According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the driver who died at the scene of a one car motor vehicle accident on Rt 8 in Bridgewater on September 25, 2023, has been positively identified as 36 year old Edward M. Cuevas of Oneonta, NY. Mr. Cuevas was identified after an investigation by the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office. Mr. Cuevas had been traveling south on Rt. 8 when the accident occurred, but it is still unknown where he had been prior to the accident. The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information regarding his activity prior to the accident contact them at (315) 765-2737.
