October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has partnered with the YWCA Mohawk Valley for 31 Days of Domestic Violence facts.

10/8 - Trust in a survivor’s decisions. They know their experience and story better than anyone. Often, abusers deny their partners’ self-determination; empowering survivors returns their control and enables them to make their own decisions.
