According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica man was arrested at the Oneida County Office Building Security Check Point for drug possession.

Charles Daniel Crissey, 42, of Utica, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a quantity of suspicious substances.

Upon investigation and testing by the Sheriff's Forensics Unit at the Sheriff's Law Enforcement Building, two of the substances were identified as cocaine and fentanyl.

Crissey was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, class A misdemeanor.

He was also wanted by the City of Utica Police, on an unrelated warrant.

He was issued an appearance ticket by Deputies returnable to Utica City Court on a later date. He was then turned over to Utica Police on the warrant.
