According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on October 16, 2023, a Camden man was arrested on several charges stemming from a car/pedestrian accident on Hillsboro Rd. in the Town of Camden.

James R. Henry, age 30 of Camden was arrested by Sheriff’s Investigators after a grand jury indictment warrant was issued. Henry has been charged with felony counts of criminally negligent homicide and vehicular manslaughter, a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated by drugs and a traffic violation of failing to stay in lane. Henry was the driver of the vehicle that struck and killed 68 year old Kathleen MacArthur who was walking with her dog on the side of Hillsboro Rd. in Camden on August 4, 2023.

Henry was arraigned in Oneida County Court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail with bail set at $10,000 cash, $10,000 Insurance company bail bond, $75,000 partially secured surety bond.
