October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office has partnered with the YWCA Mohawk Valley for 31 Days of Domestic Violence facts.

10/28 - A survivor’s mental health can also be weaponized and used as another form of domestic violence. Mental health coercion is a commonly used tactic that is targeted toward the survivor’s mental health as part of a broader pattern of abuse and control.
