According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on November 21, 2023, at around 7:36 pm, Deputies responded to 6841 Glass Factory RD in the town of Marcy for a reported single-vehicle motor vehicle accident with personal injuries reported.

On scene, Deputies determined that Jennifer Yager (28) of Rome, NY, was operating a black 2018 Toyota sedan in a northerly direction on Glass Factory Rd. Yager's vehicle exited the roadway off of the left shoulder, traveling down an embankment coming to rest approximately 50 feet from the roadway.

Yager was able to exit the vehicle and walk away with some assistance. Yager was transported to Wynn Hospital for reported pain to her head and ankle. Yager was issued two citations for speed unreasonable for road conditions and moving from lane unsafely and are returnable to the town of Marcy Court at a later date.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the New York State Troopers, Stittville Fire Department, AmCare Ambulance, and Cushman's Automotive.
