According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on December 8, 2023, at about 7:24 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of State Route 365 and State Route 31 in the Town of Verona for a reported personal injury motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer.

Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Tiffany Arnold (28), of Griffith, IN, was operating a 2018 Hyundai North on State Route 31 through the intersection of State Route 365.

Raymond Fitch (63), of Marcy, NY, was operating a 2019 Mack owned by JSD Express of Marcy, towing a FedEx Trailer, and was traveling West on State Route 365 through the intersection of State Route 31. Arnold struck the driver side axle of Fitch’s trailer with her vehicle before coming to rest in the intersection.

Arnold was transported by Vineall Ambulance to Wynn Hospital for complaints of neck and back pain.

The accident is still under investigation and no citations have been issued at this time.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the New York State Police, Verona Fire Department, Vineall Ambulance, and Rockers Automotive.
