The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind snowmobilers in Oneida County that most of the snowmobile trail system in Oneida County is closed. Individual clubs monitor their trail system to ensure conditions are safe to operate on and close when necessary. You can contact the club or check the New York State Snowmobile Association (NYSSA) App to see if trails are open or closed. Members of the Sheriff’s Office use the NYSSA App to enforce closed trails.
