According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; Today around 1:30 PM, Sheriff's Deputies assigned to the Oneida County Office building, located at 800 Park Avenue in the City of Utica, observed a Utica resident Jeremy D. Ibanez enter the building. Ibanez, who had pending charges against him for multiple Stalking incidents against an Oneida County Correctional Officer, was immediately placed in custody without incident and transported to the Kurt Wyman Law Enforcement Building where he was booked and held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility pending pre-arraignment at CAP Court. Ibanez was charged with Stalking in the 3rd degree, a Class A misdemeanor. An order of protection was requested on the victim's behalf.
