According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Sangerfield man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the Town of Sangerfield.

On February 09, 2024, Branden Ward, 31, was arrested on charges related to a domestic incident that occurred on January 17, 2024.

Upon completion of the investigation, Ward was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a class A Misdemeanor, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, a class A Misdemeanor, Menacing 3rd, a class B misdemeanor, and Harassment 2nd, a Violation.

Ward was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, and will be held at the Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by New York State Parole, The New York State Police, and The Crisis Response Team.
