According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, at around 2:32 pm on March 06, 2024, there was a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Oneida St. in the Town of Paris.

Erin Walker (44) of Sauquoit, NY was operating a Red 2012 Chevy Cruze North on Oneida St. Subsequent to the investigation, it was determined that Walker was unable to stop in time for a line of cars and struck a Gray 2015 Honda CRV that was also traveling North on Oneida St. and operated by Susan Marsh (56) of New Hartford, NY. Walker was transported to Wynn Hospital by Edwards Ambulance where she was treated for minor injuries. Marsh denied medical attention on scene.

Walker was issued a traffic citation returnable to the Town of Paris Court.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on the scene by members of the Sauquoit Fire Department and Edwards Ambulance.
