Earlier this week Sergeant Avard, and Investigator Constantine attended Trauma Notification Training held at the New York State Police Academy in Albany.

Trauma notifications can significantly impact a loved one’s grieving process, either positively or negatively. The training has been designed to provide additional tools and to aid officers who preform trauma notifications to ensure their professionalism and to preserve dignity along with the compassion which they bring to these extremely challenging circumstances.
