Oriskany Falls Man Arrested

According to Oneida County Sheriff an Oriskany Falls man was arrested by Sheriff's Deputies after an investigation into a stolen vehicle. Deputies were called to a home in the Village of Oriskany Falls at about 7 PM on 03/28/24 where the owners reported their vehicle was stolen. At about 2 AM on 03/29/24, the stolen vehicle was located abandoned on Green Vedder Road in the Town of Augusta. Deputies located Michael E. Lamanque, 33, of Oriskany Falls walking a short distance down the road. After a brief struggle and the use of a Taser by deputies, Lamanque was taken into custody. Deputies charged Lamanque with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree a class D felony, Resisting Arrest, and Harassment in the second degree. Lamanque is currently awaiting arraignment on the listed charges at CAP Court.

​***Lamanque was arrested by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office on 3/10/24 when he was intoxicated and drove a stolen vehicle to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office parking lot. He was released from custody without posting bail on the 3/10/24 charge​.***​
