Remsen man arrested for DWI, resisting arrest.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, On 04/07/2024, Deputies responded to the area of Route 365 in the Town of Remsen, regarding multiple complaints of a male operating a red Ford pickup while intoxicated. Deputies located the vehicle at the Northway Stop n Shop, where Brandon J. Horstman was determined to be under the influence of Drugs and Alcohol. Brandon then attempted to flee the scene and refused to comply with orders from Deputies. The deputies were able to place Brandon in custody without further incident. Brandon was charged with DWI combination of drugs and alcohol, Resisting arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration, Aggravated unlicensed operation, and issued several other traffic citations regarding the incident. Brandon was held at the Oneida County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.

Deputies were assisted on scene by NYSP and Shufelt's towing.
