Herkimer-Oneida Counties Transportation Council (HOCTC) is asking for your feedback about your transportation needs and safety concerns by taking the survey linked below and/or participating in our interactive Safe Streets Crowdsource Reporting Map. HOCTC has been working on several new transportation initiatives to improve safety, transportation equity, economic sustainability, and promote active and healthy lifestyles. Each of the transportation studies weighs the importance of qualitative feedback through taking this survey along with data analysis.

To learn more about these efforts, a Transportation Planning Open House & Public Meeting has been scheduled for May 22, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m., in Room 225 of Wilcox Hall at MVCC, 1101 Sherman Drive, Utica, NY 13501. Safety Concerns for the local roadway network and the Long-Range Vision for the future of the entire transportation network in Oneida and Herkimer County will be discussed and an interactive “Safe Street Reporter” web tool will be demonstrated. Identical presentations will be given at 3:30 p.m. & 5:30 p.m.
