According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol; A Sangerfield man was arrested after an investigation into a domestic that occurred in the Town of Sangerfield.

On May 25, 2024, Branden Ward, 31, was arrested by road patrol deputies on charges related to a domestic incident that occurred on May 24, 2024.

Upon completion of the investigation, Ward was arrested and charged with the following:

(1) Count of Menacing 2nd, a Class A Misdemeanor

(1)Count of Menacing 3rd, a Class B Misdemeanor

(2)Counts of Reckless Endangerment, Class A Misdemeanors

(2) Counts of Stalking 4th, Class B Misdemeanors

(1) Count of Criminal Mischief 4th (intent to damage property), a Class A Misdemeanor

(1) Count of Criminal Mischief 4th (prevention of emergency call), a Class A Misdemeanor

(1) Count of Criminal Contempt 1st, a Class E Felony

Ward was listed on parole with a GPS monitoring system. New York State Parole was contacted and responded to assist deputies with locating Ward at a location nearby in the Town of Sangerfield.

Ward was previously arrested by road patrol in February of 2024 on a similar domestic related incident and was awarded his continued GPS parole program.

Ward was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing, and will be held at the Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment.
