According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, a Remsen man was arrested pursuant to an investigation of a domestic incident that occurred on today's date at approximately 1:00 PM on Maple Avenue in the Village of Remsen.

Jonathan M. Watson, 33, allegedly damaged a door at the residence and prevented a call for help by the victim while in the presence of two children. Watson was arrested and subsequently charged with two counts of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree and two counts of Endangering the welfare of a child less than seventeen, all of which are class A misdemeanors. Watson was then transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building where he has been processed and will be arraigned before Oneida County CAP Court on the charges.
