According to the Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, on August 16th, 2024, at approximately 7:01 P.M. Deputies responded to a reported personal injury ATV motor vehicle accident that occurred on State Route 315, in the Town of Marshall.

Deputies determined that a Juvenile, age 17, of Oriskany Falls, was traveling north on State Route 315 in a 2014 Arctic Cat Prowler when he lost control of the ATV and collided with a tree. Waterville Fire Department and Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the scene and the Juvenile's parent had signed the Juvenile off with Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

The passenger of the ATV, Douglas Weaver, age 32, of Madison, had also refused medical treatment.

Both parties were issued Universal Traffic Tickets returnable to Marshall Town Court at a later date.
