Sheriff Maciol was honored to attend this morning’s ceremony unveiling the 2024 Believe 271 Bowl Honorary Captains that were chosen by the Believe 271 Foundation and Utica University Football. Jerseys were presented to Esher Kanyaw of the Utica Fire Department and Colin Isom of the Sylvan Beach Fire Department. Esher and Colin have remained dedicated and committed to the fire service despite their battle with health issues. The Mastrovito Hyundai Believe 271 Bowl takes place this Friday at 7 p.m. at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium in Utica. Following a long time tradition, the Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard will be presenting our Nation’s Colors at the game.
