According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert M. Maciol deputies responded to Wendy’s Diner in the Town of Paris for a larceny in June.

Deputies also responded to the business for a burglary in the beginning of July. Due to the nature of the investigations they were turned over to the Criminal Investigations Unit for further investigation.

Over the course of several months and at the conclusion of the investigation, Tracy Boyer, 46 of Columbus was identified as the suspect. Boyer was an employee of the business for a short time which was during the incidents. Boyer was taken into custody with the assistance of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit.

Boyer was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd a class D Felony and Burglary 3rd another class D Felony and arraigned at CAP Court and was sent to Oneida County Jail on $5000 cash bail.
