Accident

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; an Ilion woman was injured in a single vehicle accident on Mohawk Street in the Town of Paris.

On July 18, 2018 at around 3:54 AM Deputies responded to the accident and through their investigation it was discovered that Kari Dingman, 24, of Ilion was operating a 2011 Nissan Sedan southerly on Mohawk Street in the Town of Paris. It was found that Dingman crossed over to the opposite side of the road and entered a ditch before striking a tree. Dingman was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation of minor injuries.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office DWI Unit responded to the scene and subsequently arrested Dingman for DWI. Dingman was cited tickets returnable to Paris Town Court at a later date.
