Appointment

Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol has announced the appointment of Michael Purdy as the Chief Deputy of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center. Chief Deputy Purdy replaced former Chief Deputy Joseph Lisi after Lisi’s promotion to Oneida County Undersheriff. Chief Purdy joins the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office after a twenty year career with the City of Norwich Police Department where he served in the Patrol Division and then as an Investigator assigned to their Narcotics Unit and then as an Investigator assigned to the Chenango County Child Advocacy Center.
