Arrest Town of Camden on 02/26/18

According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Joseph A. Lisi, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Camden man was arrested for having sexual contact with a child. Utica Police Investigator Fred Bruzzese, assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Dusty A. Hummel, 35, for having sexual contact with a female child under the age of 15 while in the Town of Camden. Hummel was arrested for Criminal Sexual Act in the Second Degree, a class D Felony. Hummel was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court and sent to Oneida County Correctional Facility on $15,000 bail. Investigator Bruzzese was assisted by other members of the Child Advocacy Center. The victim has been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
