Augusta courtroom cleared

According Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on Monday March 5, 2018 at about 5:30 PM a local criminal court in the Town of Augusta had to be cleared during a court session do to a disorderly subject. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 185 N Main StVillage of Oriskany Falls for a disorderly white male that was disrupting the court while in session and making others in the courtroom fearful. Prior to the Deputies arrival, Town of Augusta Judge Jackie Warcup and Court Clerk, Valerie Lockwood had already cleared all other individuals from the court room for their safety. Shortly after Deputies arrived and a brief interview with the disorderly elderly white male he was taken into custody and transported to St. Elizabeth’s Memorial Hospital for a further evaluation.
