CAC Felony Arrest on 6/23/18

According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Joseph A. Lisi, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Town of Frankfort man was arrested for having sexual contact with a child. Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigator C.J. Paravati and Investigator Mark Chrysler, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Joseph M. Dragotta, 36, for having sexual contact with a female child under the age of 13 while in the City of Utica. Dragotta was arrested for Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, a Class B Felony. Dragotta was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court and was sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility on $50,000 cash bail. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible. The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center was assisted by the Utica Police Department Patrol Division. The victim has been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
