Car/pedestrian accident

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, there was a car - pedestrian on Stage Rd. in Marcy. David Schrader, age 51, of Marcy was retrieving property out of his car that was parked on the side of Stage Rd. when a vehicle drove by and struck him with the driver side mirror. The vehicle was described as a green passenger car, possibly a Honda. Schrader sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment on scene. Anyone that may have information in regards to this incident is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s office. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Maynard Fire Dept. and the New York State Police.
