The Community Affairs Unit of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office was honored to assist Syracuse University with a 30th year commemoration of the bombing of Pan Am flight 103. A team of first responders from Lockerbie, Scotland rode their bicycles through our area today on their way to Syracuse University to complete the journey to honor the 35 Syracuse University students who perished in the bombing. Our agency escorted the riders through Oneida County with help from the Syracuse Police Department and Department of Public Safety from Syracuse University.
