According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol, On 11/10/2018 at approximately 9:00 PM deputies responded to an address in the Town of Verona for a Dispute between Ronald S. Campbell Jr, 25 of Verona and Stephen L. Grosjean, 51 of Annsville.

Upon further investigation by Oneida County Sheriff’s deputies and the Criminal Investigation Unit, it was determined that a verbal dispute turned physical between the parties and Campbell pursued Grosjean with brass knuckles. Grosjean retreated to his truck while Campbell followed and attempted to climb upon Grosjeans vehicle.

Campbell then struck Grosjeans vehicle with the brass knuckles causing damage to the vehicle before Grosjean drove away from the scene striking Campbell with the truck. Campbell was transported by ambulance and treated at Upstate University Hospital for minor injuries. He was released shortly thereafter. Campbell was later arrested for Endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor Menacing in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor and Criminal Mischief in the second degree, a class D felony.

Campbell was then arraigned at the Oneida County CAP Court where he was remanded to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $1,000.00 bail. Campbell has since been released from the custody of the Sheriff after appearing at the Town of Verona Court and is scheduled to reappear on a later date.
