Drug arrest Mill Pond Way

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; on February 1st, 2018, a search warrant was executed at 8468 Mill Pond Way in the town of Vienna by members of the Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and New York State Police SORT. The warrant was the result of an investigation into the manufacturing, sale and distribution of methamphetamine. During the course of the search warrant a quantity of methamphetamine was located along with items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) was on standby to evaluate the scene. As a result of the search warrant the following people were arrested and charged as follows:

- John C Barnhardt 39 years old of 8468 Mill Pond Way – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the second degree, a class A-2 Felony.

- Harley D Forbes 27 years old of 102 2nd St Camden – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the second degree, a class A-2 Felony.

Both individuals were booked into Oneida County Jail where they will await arraignment at the Centralized Arraignment Court on no bail amounts. The Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit was assisted by members of the Rome Police Department SIU, Oneida County Sheriff's Road Patrol, NYSP SORT, NYSP CCSERT. More charges are pending for both individuals at this time.
