Fatal House Fire

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, one woman has passed away following a structure fire in the Town of Marshall.

Around 6:55 this morning, family members found their residence at 2282 Brothertown Road in the Town of Marshall to be fully involved. The family members on scene attempted several times to retrieve 69 year old Mary Lou Buschor from the residence but were unfortunately unsuccessful. Buschor succumbed to her injuries resulting from the fire and was pronounced dead on scene.

Assisting on scene were members of the Deansboro, Clinton, Vernon Center, Waterville, and Oriskany Falls Volunteer Fire Departments and COCVAC Ambulance.
