According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Joseph A. Lisi, Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a Herkimer woman was arrested for having sexual contact with a child. Utica Police Investigator Frederick Bruzzese III and Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Mark Chrysler, both assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, arrested Brenda L. Johnson, 51, for having sexual contact with a child under the age of 17 while in the City of Utica. Johnson was arrested for Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Misdemeanors. Johnson was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Utica City Court at a later date. The victim has been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
