According to Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation at the New York Mills High School this afternoon.
Deputies are on the scene and are working with school officials on what appears to be a non-credible threat by a juvenile student.
There is no immediate threat to any of the students at the school or the general public as the deputies are in the process of interviewing a juvenile of interest.
The Sheriff's Office will send a follow-up news release at the conclusion of this investigation.
