Job fair reminder

Reminder: The Oneida County Sheriff’s Community Affairs Unit will be holding multiple job fairs this month in an effort to fill current vacant full and part-time positions within the Oneida County Correctional Facility. On August 13th the job fair will be held at The Fitness Mill on Main Street in New York Mills from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. The Community Affairs Unit will also be in the center court at the Sangertown Mall in New Hartford the following dates and times- Monday, August 20th through Friday, August 24th from 12:00 pm until 8:00pm. Members of the Sheriff’s Office will be present to talk about a career in the field of Corrections along with providing job specifications, requirements, benefits, and the hiring process. Applications will also be available for those wishing to immediately apply for one of the current vacant Full or part time Correction Officer positions.
