Motor vehicle accident

According to the Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on November 5th, 2018 at approximately 07:57 AM deputies responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on State Route 46 in the Town of Verona.

Deputies reported that a gold 2014 Chevrolet Traverse being operated by Katherine M. Edwards (35) of Lee Center was traveling southbound on State Route 46 when she failed to keep right and entered the oncoming lane. Edward’s vehicle came into contact with a trailer being hauled by a blue 2014 Ford F-250 pick-up truck operated by Therese B. Boncella (53) of Taberg.

Edwards was transported by AmCare ambulance to Oneida City Hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Edwards was issued a citation for Failure to Keep Right.

Deputies were assisted by members of the Verona Fire Department and AmCare Ambulance.
