Motor vehicle accident

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, on Wednesday November 28th, 2018, at about 8:25 P.M., Deputies responded to Route 8, just south of Swamp Road, in the Town of Bridgewater for a reported unknown Motor Vehicle Accident. The investigation into the accident determined that Radelfy Perezsosa (25) of Utica, was operating his gray 2006 Nissan Murano in a northerly direction on Route 8, when a deer entered the road from the west shoulder. Perezsosa attempted to avoid the deer, subsequently exiting the east shoulder of the roadway and he was unable to regain control due to the slushy/snow covered shoulder. After Perezsosa’s vehicle exited the roadway, it collided with a utility pole causing heavy front end damage to his vehicle. Perezsosa was transported by Bridgewater Ambulance to St. Luke’s hospital for a medical evaluation for non-life threatening injuries. Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted on scene by Bridgewater Fire Department and Bridgewater Ambulance. ​
