Motor vehicle accident

According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, on 05/02/2018, at about 12:30 AM, deputies responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on Hill Road in the Town of Verona.

Brett Moyer, 23, of Oneida, was operating his 2012 Ford Mustang in a Westerly direction on Hill Road when Moyer failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway. Moyer's vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole before coming to a rest.

Moyer was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries and was issued a traffic ticket returnable to Verona court at a later time.

Verona Fire Dept. and Vineall Ambulance assisted on scene.
