According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Two people were sent to the hospital following a 2 car accident in the Town of Lee.

Around 1:30 PM on May 10th, Brandon Parry, 19 of Rome, was operating a 2016 Honda CRV in a southern direction on Thomas Road when he approached a curve and lost control of the vehicle. Parry's vehicle crossed into the northbound lane, striking a 2016 Nissan Rouge operated by Kelly Moore, 56 of Rome. A passenger in Parry's vehicle, Patrick Kelley 19 of Rome, was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for evaluation of head pain. Moore was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital for evaluation of chest and neck pain.

Parry was issued a ticket for failure to keep right, returnable to Lee Town Court at a later date.
