Motor Vehicle Accident In the City of Rome

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; On February 02, 2018 at approximately 12:57PMDeputies responded to Rome Taberg Road in the City of Rome for a three car motor vehicle accident resulting in minor injuries.

An investigation revealed that Kallea Kirk, 33 of Taberg was driving her 2012 Chevy Traverse westbound on Rome Taberg Road when a dark colored pickup truck had entered the WB lane causing Kirk to collide with a 2015 Kia Optima operated by Patricia Manuele, 52 of Rome traveling westbound. The collision caused Manuele's vehicle to go into the eastbound lane. Manuele was then struck by Kurt Olson, 62 of Taberg operating a 2001 Ford F-150 who was traveling eastbound. These actions then caused Manuele to strike a tree head on with her vehicle.

Manuele was transported by AmCare Ambulance to Rome Memorial Hospital where she was treated for apparent minor injuries.
