Motor vehicle accident in the town of Boonville

According to Oneida County Sheriff, Robert Maciol;

On June 18th 2018 at approximately 11:00 A.M.Deputies responded to West Leyden Road in the Town of Boonville for a reported motor vehicle accident between a pick up truck and a motorcycle, in which a party sustained physical injuries. Upon arrival, Deputies determined that Joshua Tagliamonte (19) of Boonville, NY was operating a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound when David Stocklosa (61) of Boonville, NY was backing his 2016 GMC pick up truck out of a driveway on the hillcrest of a curve. Tagliamonte was unable to avoid Stocklosa and struck him on the passenger side of the vehicle. Tagliamonte sustained injuries during the crash and was air lifted by Mercy Flight to SUNY Upstate Medical Hospital in Syracuse where he is being treated for his injuries. Citations were issued during this incident and the investigation is considered closed.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Boonville Fire Department, Boonville Ambulance, Boonville Police Department, Mercy Flight and the New York State Police.
