Motor vehicle accident/Lee

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, one woman was injured following a two car motor vehicle accident in the Town of Lee. The accident occurred on 08/31/2018 at about 7:59AM. Daygan Hughes, age 21, of Westernville was operating his 2009 Dodge Ram pick up truck south on Gore Rd, when he failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with Pamela Babcock, age 27, of Rome, who was traveling east on Golly Rd in her 2013 Ford Fusion. Babcock complained of minor chest pain and was transported to St. Luke's ER by AmCare Ambulance. Hughes was not injured. Hughes was issued a traffic summons for Fail to stop at a stop sign returnable to Lee Town Court. Lee Center Fire Dept, New York State Police and National Grid assisted Deputies on scene.
