New Hartford woman arrested

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on October 19, 2018 Jennifer K. Walker, age 47, of New Hartford, was arrested for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree , a Class E felony.

On October 12, 2017, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit received the Larceny Complaint from the Kirkland Arts Center located in the Town of Kirkland, NY. After a lengthy investigation it was determined that Jennifer K. Walker while being an employee of the Kirkland Arts Center had created a PayPal Account for the not-for-profit agency.

The PayPal account was used to take in funds for Kirkland Arts Center programming. The PayPal account was also used by Walker over the course of several years to make numerous personal transactions that mounted to thousands of dollars.

Walker was arrested at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office where she was fingerprinted, photographed and released on an appearance ticket. She is to appear at the Town of Kirkland Court on 10/30/2018 at 5:30 PM.
