Raoul Baldwin Sentenced to 20 Years

According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Michael Purdy, director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, Raoul Baldwin, 38, of Syracuse was sentenced by the Honorable Michael L. Dwyer of Oneida County Court, to twenty years in prison on October 17, 2018. Baldwin was sentenced as a Second Violent Felony Offender, and will also have to serve twenty years of post-release supervision. Baldwin pled guilty on August 2, 2018 to Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree in relation to a March 21, 2018 incident involving the sexual assault and attempted kidnapping of a child in the City of Utica. The investigation was conducted by the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center with assistance from New York State Parole, the US Marshalls NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office.
