Remsen incident

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, On 07-25-18 at about 3:23 pm, Deputies responded to a 911 hang up, at 9584 Main St V/Remsen. Upon arrival a white male ran on foot away from the Deputy. The Deputy gave chase but lost site of him between houses in Remsen. Several agencies including the NYS DEC Police, NYS Police and Boonville PD assisted the Sheriff's Office with the search which was negative results. Investigation on scene found the male to be Thomas Zavalidroga, DOB 11-02-61. Investigation also reveled that Zavalidroga has a warrant out of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor.

The 911 hang up call is still under investigation.
