A Rome man was arrested after a domestic dispute in the Town of Vienna

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Oswego Road in the Town of Vienna at about 1:30 this morning. When they arrived they found that Tyler Edick, 27 of Rome was fighting with his girlfriend and had struck her with a beer bottle. She was not injured. Deputies learned that Edick was out on bail, and that he was in violation of an order of protection. Edick became combative and began to fight with deputies. He was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Contempt in the first degree, Criminal Possession of a weapon fourth degree, Resisting Arrest, Harassment, and Obstructing Governmental Administration.

Edick was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court at the Oneida County Correctional Facility. Bail was set at $25,000. He was remanded to the jail and will appear in the Town of Vienna Court at a later date.
