Teen Traffic Safety programs continue for this second week throughout the schools in Oneida County. Today, it begins in New York Mills with Jacy Good sharing her story about the crash (caused by a teenager using a cell phone while driving) that took the life of both of her parents and left her paralyzed on one side on the day of her college graduation. A very tragic story with a powerful message. At the completion of their presentation, Sheriff Maciol had the privilege of reciting the “Prom Promise” with those attending the upcoming NYMills Prom as we work together to do everything we can to keep our kids safe !
