Upcoming job fairs

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Community Affairs Unit will be holding multiple job fairs next month in an effort to fill current vacant part time positions within the Oneida County Correctional Facility. On July 2nd the job fair will be held at Retro Fitness in Yorkville at the following times (9:00am-12:00 pm and 4:00pm-7:00pm). The Community Affairs Unit will also be in the center court at the Sangertown Mall in New Hartford the following dates and times-Tuesday July 10th through Friday July 13th from 1:00 pm until 9:00pm. Members of the Sheriff’s Office will be present to talk about a career in the field of Corrections along with providing job specifications, requirements, benefits, and the hiring process. Applications will also be available for those wishing to immediately apply for one of the current vacant part time Correction Officer positions.
