Update investigation 10/12/18

Update: investigation 10/12/18 This domestic incident occurred at 2722 Church Rd in the Town of Paris. Prior to police arrival the suspect, 58 year old Robert Hailston of that residence, fled into a corn field nearby. Several Deputies along with a New York State Police Canine Unit and New York State Troopers tracked and located Hailston in the corn field where Hailston was uncooperative with law enforcement. A short time later, the canine assisted deputies and troopers in taking Hailston successfully into custody. Hailston was transported to the hospital for injuries received from the incident and will be facing misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief 4th and menacing 3rd as a result of the domestic incident upon his release.
