According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, a Utica man charged with 2 felonies following a domestic incident

According to investigating deputy, Dep. B. Warcup, Brandon J Hanrahan, 33, of Utica, was charged with Criminal Contempt 1stand Criminal Impersonation 1st, both class E felonies. Hanrahan called his ex-girlfriend at work in the Town of Westmoreland, claiming to be a member of the Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol. The ex-girlfriend has a current order of protection in place which is a complete stay away order and makes it illegal for any contact at all. Hanrahan turned himself in to deputies at the Kurt B Wyman Law Enforcement Building on 101818. Hanrahan was arrested and lodged at the pre-arraignment detention at the Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment.
