A Utica woman was arrested on July 24, 2018 for a felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, Alexandria M. Ackerman, age 27 from Utica was charged after an investigation into the theft of a public benefit card at her place of employment in the Town of Lee in May of 2018. It was determined that Ackerman used the card at the Wal Mart in the City of Rome to buy groceries around the time it was discovered missing.
