On Friday morning,The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Special Patrol Officer alerted the road patrol of a potential threat at Camden High School. Members of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol, Camden Police Department and New York State Police immediately responded to the school and worked in conjunction with Camden School Officials to secure the area. The school was put on lockdown as a precaution. The Sheriff’s Office has determined that no direct threat was made regarding the school. Normal school activities were continued shortly after the situation was deemed safe. At no time was the public in any danger.
